Financial Aspects
The International Journal of Engineering, Sciences and Technologies (IJEST) is committed to offering an Open Access publishing model to ensure wide dissemination of research without restriction. However, fees are charged to cover the costs of editorial management, peer review, hosting and article indexing.
Publication Charges Policy (Article Processing Charges – APC)
Publication of an article in IJEST is subject to a processing fee of $60 per article. These fees cover:
- Managing the peer review process.
- Layout and preparation of articles for publication.
- The assignment of a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to each article.
- Hosting and maintaining the newspaper archives.
- Indexing and dissemination in academic databases.
Free or pricing
Payment of publication fees is mandatory once the article has been accepted for publication. IJEST does not charge any fees for submitting an article.
In certain exceptional cases, a partial or total exemption from fees may be considered for authors from low-income countries or as part of institutional collaborations. Any request for exemption must be motivated and addressed to the editorial committee before final acceptance of the manuscript.
Payment terms
Publication fees can be paid via the following means:
- Mobile money in Madagascar
- Payment by credit card (via a secure platform)
- PayPal
An invoice will be provided to the corresponding author after confirmation of payment.
Refund Policy
Once the publication costs have been paid, no refund will be granted, except in the event of an invoicing error or exceptional cancellation decided by the editorial committee.
IJEST remains available to authors for any questions relating to publication fees and payment terms. For any specific requests, please contact the editorial team
